Fully convinced that regular, disciplined use of the Method brings results for all who try it. We are delighted to work together, sharing the same approach and search for excellence, to bring the wonderful power of Pilates to the Brussels community and beyond.
Tania Tsiora
Tania’s teaching is characterized by a passionate dedication to the method, a tireless commitment to studying and practicing Pilates, and a genuine joy in seeing her students progress—whether through performance training or simply body conditioning.
Gymnastics and dance have been a big part of Tania’s motivation in her daily life since an early age. She started artistic and rhythmic gymnastics at the age of four and she was practicing and performing until her adolescence.
In her career Tania worked as a human rights activist and later she followed her passion. She began studying Pilates even while maintaining her office work. Each experience and knowledge learned during these stages is reflected in the way she works. Tania passionately believes in joint body-mind training to get people to unleash their full potential.
Tania accomplished the first intensive course for teachers organized by The Lab – Uno Pilates school and taught by Fabien Menegon (Centre Pilates Barcelona) and Miguel Silva (Uno Pilates school). In October 2019, Tania organized her first retreat in Crete and she arrived in Athens to teach at Athens Pilates studio, Maria Vorrias and raise awareness about the original method of Pilates. In 2020 she opened the studio ‘Pilates Tania Tsiora’ in Brussels and since then she has been giving her own workshops and retreats.
Tania got certified in October 2025 by UNO Pilates school on ‘Principles of Guidance programme‘, one of the very few educational programmes in the world where the method is taught in such an authentic way as closely as possible to how it was originally taught by Joseph Pilates. She has also been trained with other distinguished teachers in the Pilates world such as Elaine Ewing, Lori Coleman-Brown, Veronica Ruiz Jimenez and Michael Johnson. Tania is also certified in Functional Range Conditioning, or FRC® a system focused on joint health, mobility and strength through controlled movement.
Elizabeth Whittam
Passionate about Pilates since taking her first class in 2008, she is overjoyed to have made it her career.
Elizabeth loves that there is no end to how far you can progress your own movement. Once you start to feel and see the results Pilates brings, you want to go on. That’s what makes it so gratifying to teach. Elizabeth strongly believes that the greatest reward as a teacher is to witness the change in clients’ bodies as they progress, grow stronger and more supple, gaining confidence as they realize they can move with more ease, and are capable of so much more than they imagined.
Belgo-British and originally from a human resources background, she first trained to teach Pilates in Brussels from 2014 and made a career switch to make it her full-time job. Recently, this led her to spend 18 months studying with world-renowned Master Trainer Fabien Menegon, who was himself trained by Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ protégé. Fabien’s internationally recognised school in Spain, the Spanish School of Authentic Pilates (EEDAP – Escuela Española de Auténtico Pilates), trains instructors to understand and apply the authentic Pilates Method, the way Joseph Pilates intended.
